We invite you and your family to Union’s first Multicultural Open House on Thursday, November 11. The Admissions office welcomes students from diverse backgrounds to come and learn about the academic and community experience at Union. Prospective families can tour Union with a student, meet professors, and hear about the Admissions and Financial Aid processes from members of the staff.
Bus transportation will be provided from NYC, Boston, and New Jersey.
- NYC: Bryant Park (near the corner of 6th Avenue and E. 40th Street).
- Boston: 45 Franklin Street(near South Station)
- New Jersey: Newark Penn station at Raymond Plaza West and Market Street
Buses will leave at 7:30am from these locations and should return between 7-7:30pm.
NOTE: Bus seats are first come, first serve, so register today.

The Academic Opportunity Program (AOP), an extension of the New York State Higher Education Opportunity Program (HEOP), which brings approximately 20-25 students to the college who are from academically and financially disadvantaged backgrounds. Participants are talented students who benefit from the financial and academic support services offered through the program such as individual advising, tutoring and full-need financial aid packaging. In support of the college’s strategic plan objectives and institutional goals, the Office of Multicultural Affairs develops and implements diversity leadership programs for the community. Serving as a location for the development and awareness of all campus-wide multicultural programs, the office provides programming assistance for cultural events, LGBTQ programs, religious and multi-faith programs, interdisciplinary studies and other special events.
