First Generation Student Bloggers

The Center for Student Opportunity’s Opportunity Scholars blog welcomes 10 freshmen who have become the first in their family to attend college. These new fresh faces will join 20 student bloggers who together will be recording their college experiences, ranging from the bad to the good. Most importantly, the newly joined bloggers will offer advice to college-bound students on preparing for college.

Feel free to meet the bloggers and to read their posts at the link below: http://www.csocollegecenter.org/blog

Everyone can follow the blog, encouraging students to sign up for the free Opportunity Scholars program at http://www.CSOcollegecenter.org/signup. This FREE program for first-generation and traditionally underserved students is open to students from grades 6-12 and the program enables them to:

  • Connect directly with colleges featured on CSO College Center (4-year residential institutions committed to access, opportunity, and success for your students)
