Closing the Achievement Gap Town Hall Event, TOMORROW, Nov. 6

The NYC Department of Education Closing the Achievement Gap will be hosting an event entitled “Brown vs. Broad of Education: Celebrating 60 Years of a Movement”.

You are invited to participate in this Town Hall event being anchored by prestigious leaders in education:

  • President of Medgar Evers College – Dr. Rudy Crew Jr.,
  • President of Tuskegee University – Dr. Brian L. Johnson
  • Deputy Director of the White House Initiative on Historically Black Colleges and Universities- Dr. Ivory Toldson.


Opening remarks by NYC Department of Education Chancellor Carmen Fariña.
