NYColleges.org New Resources

We wanted to share two new pages on our website, www.nycolleges.org, that you may find helpful for your students: a new Career Exploration/Student Programs page and an Upcoming Events page.

The Career Exploration/Student Programs page, www.nycolleges.org/get-more-resources/career-exploration-student-intern-programs, contains links to career exploration tools and internship opportunities such as the New York Leaders: Student Intern Program, that allows students to view and apply for internship opportunities across an array of State agencies both downstate and upstate.

Also on the page are links to internship opportunities at the New York State Senate, New York State Assembly, New York State Office of the State Comptroller, New York State Museum, New York State Public Health Association and New York State Police. A link for New York City-specific internships is provided as well.

The second new page on our website, Upcoming Events page, www.nycolleges.org/events, allows us to share information about upcoming events at private colleges and universities in New York, including details about time, location, and contact information, as well as a brief description of the event and a link to the respective campus’ events page for additional information. The page is a centralized location where students can view Open House dates, as well as other events of interest as you and your students explore colleges and universities. The events added to this page will also be showcased in the Upcoming Events section on the homepage of www.nycolleges.org as the dates of the events approach.

If you have additional resources you would like to share, please send them to outreach@cicu.org.
